Holliday, Larry ,
Larry Holliday played high school basketball for Dorsey high school in Los Angeles where he was an All-Los Angeles star. In 1968, he began playing basketball for the University of Oregon as a forward. His sophomore season he was the second leading rebounder in the PAC-8 behind Lew Alcindor of UCLA. After his junior year he was selected as a member of the NCAA All-American Touring team in cooperation with the Armed Forces. While at the University of Oregon he averaged 10.1 points per game and 8.2 rebounds per game. In 1971, he was drafted in round 9 (141 overall) by the Seattle Super Sonics and was drafted by the Miami Floridians of the American Basketball Association. He played professionally in Scandinavia.
