Warren , Ray
Ray Warren was a standout baseball player at Portland's Jefferson high school and from 1961 through 1965 he played baseball for Portland's Lewis & Clark College where he starred as a pitcher and outfielder. Warren was a two-time Northwest Conference NAIA District 2 All-Star. As a junior he batted .348 to lead the team and had a career era of 1.65 with 49 strikeouts. He was inducted into the Lewis & Clark Sports Hall of Fame in 1989.
