Houshmanzadeh , Touraj (T.J.)
T.J. Houshmanzadeh was born in Victorville, California and played high school football at Barstow before attending Cerritos College (JC) in 1998 and 1999 where he was a two-time All-Mission Conference wide receiver and kick returner. Following his junior college career he accepted a scholarship to play for Dennis Erickson at Oregon State University. He became a starter his senior year and played a significant role in the 4th ranked Beavers' defeat of Notre Dame 41 to 9 in the 2000 Fiesta Bowl. Houshmanzadeh concluded his Oregon State career with 48 receptions for 730 yards and 7 touchdowns.

He was selected in the 7th round of the 2001 NFL draft by the Cincinnati Bengals where he developed into one of the NFL's top wide receivers despite his low draft status. Houshamzadeh plays with his Oregon State teammate Chad Johnson who was drafted by the Bengals in the 2nd round of the 2001 NFL draft.
