Kent , Ernie Ernie Kent played college basketball at the University of Oregon from 1973 to 1977 as an important part of coach Dick Harter's team known as the "Kamikaze Kids" for their exciting style of play and hustle. Knee injuries curtailed Kent's basketball career. After college he distinguished himself as a college basketball coach. 1980-87 Coach Al-Khaleej Club, Saudi Arabia 1987-89 Asst. Kent's teams participated in the NCAA Tournament in 2000, 2002, 2003, 2007 and 2008 and made it to the Final Four of the National Invitational Tournament in 1999 and 2004.
