Didier , Clint
Clint Didier was born April 4, 1959 in Connell, Washington and played football at Connell High School. After high shool he was a standout tight end at Columbia Basin Junior College before transfering to Portland State University. He played for the Portland State University Vikings during the 1979 and 1980 seasons. In 1980, he led the Vikings with 67 catches for 1,091 yards. After college Didier was drafted in the 12th round by the Washington Redskins and played with them from 1981 to 1988. While with the Redskins he was a starter at tight end and won two Super Bowls. His NFL career statistics include 141 receptions, 1,923 yards, and 21 touchdowns. In NFL playoffs he had 18 receptions, 269 yards, and 2 touchdowns.
He was elected to the Portland State University Hall of Fame in 2000 and the Central Washington Sports Hall of Fame in 2001.
