Portland Forest Dragons ,
The Portland Forest Dragons were an Arena Football League team in Portland, Oregon from 1997 to 1999 and finished their time in Portland with a record of 13 wins and 29 losses. The franchise began as the Memphis Pharaohs before coming to Portland where they played their home games in the Rose Garden arena. The franchise left Portland after the 1999 season to play in Oklahoma City as the Wranglers. The Forest Dragon's most notable player was wide receiver Oronde Gadsen who went on to play for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League and became one of Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino's top receiver from 1998 to 2003.
