Coleman , Lionel
Lionel Coleman was a standout high school football, basketball and track athlete at Jefferson High School in Portland, Oregon where he was an All-City halfback. Coleman won the state high school long jump championship in 1964 with a jump of 22 ft. 9.5 inches. In 1969 and 1970, he lettered as a defensive back and punt returner for the University of Oregon football team. In 1970, he led the Ducks in interceptions with 5 for 46 yards and the same year was named All-Conference, and was selected to play in the East-West Shrine game. In the 1971 NFL draft he was selected as a defensive back in the 14th round at number 358 overall by the Rams.
