Lewis , Osia
Osia Lewis was born December 3, 1962 at Anchorage, Alaska. In high school he earned letters in football, track and basketball at Tucson (Arizona) High School. While a player at Oregon State University from 1982 to 1985 he earned four letters playing quarterback, wide receiver, safety and linebacker. He earned second team All PAC-10 honors and AP honorable mention All-American honors. His senior year he was a team captain and was named the school's Most Inspirational Player. After college he played four seasons in the Arena Football League before beginning his coaching career. From 1987-89 he was a graduate assistant coach at Oregon State University working with the linebackers, from 1989-90 he coached linebackers and secondary at Western Oregon University before rejoining Oregon State University in 1991 as the linebackers coach.
