Eaglin , Ray
Ray Eaglin was born December 18, 1941 in Galveston, Texas and grew up in Beaumont, Texas where he was an outstanding high school football player. He had an exceptional football career in the Marine Corp before earning a scholarship to the University of Oregon where he was an outstanding defensive lineman in 1965. An injury cut his college football career short, but in 1967 he played professional football for the Eugene Bombers of the Continental Football League. He died July 24, 2004 in Portland, Oregon after a brilliant career as an artist, humanitarian and community activist
