O'Billovich , Jack
Jack O'Billovich was a football letterman at Oregon State University (1963-64-65.) He played for the late Tommy Protho and led Oregon State to the 1965 Rose Bowl. In 1964, he was an All-American linebacker and was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the 11th round in 1966 playing one season. Other colegiate honors include All PAC-8, and selection to both the Hula Bowl and East-West Shrine Games. In 1967, he played professional football for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL and the Eugene, Oregon team (Eugene Bombers) in the Continental Football League and was voted an All-Star linebacker.
Injuries cut short his career. He was inducted in the Oregon State University Sports Hall of Fame in 1991 and the State of Of Oregon Sports Hall of Fame in 2008.
